Today, my colleague Martin called me and told me that one of his customers asked him why it isn’t possible to add a “tabbed” view to Infopath 2007 like in other Applications (like Lotus Notes). So I remembered an approach for that, I designed half a year ago to reduce the complexity of an InfoPath Form.
It’s really easy – just divide the fields on different view pages and place a group of hidden buttons on top of every page:
View 1:
View 2:View 3:An now here comes the magic trick – add a table with 3 borderless Buttons on top of each view. Every Button switches to the corresponding view:
Make them colorful and borderless:
and add the rule to the switching event:
